The Seals

CHAPTER 6:1-17
THE SEALS

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures, like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse! And the one sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming, and that he might overcome. 3 And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come and see. 4 And another horse went out, red. And it was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another. And a great sword was given to him. 5 And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold, a black horse, and the one sitting on it having a balance in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine. 7 And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and see. 8 And I saw, and behold, a pale green horse, and the name of the one sitting on it was Death; and Hades followed after him. And authority was given to them to kill over the fourth of the earth with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth. 9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those having been slain for the word of God, and for the witness which they had. 10 And they cried with a great voice, saying, Until when, holy and true Master, do You not judge and take vengeance for our blood, from those dwelling on the earth? 11 And there was given to each one a white robe. And it was said to them that they should rest yet a little time, until might be fulfilled also the number of their fellow -slaves and their brothers, those being about to be killed, even as they. 12 And I saw when He opened the sixth seal. And behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair; and the moon became as blood; 13 and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind casts its unripe figs. 14 And the heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the powerful ones, and every slave, and every freeman hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. 16 And “they said to the mountains” and to the rocks, “Fall on us,” and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, Hos. 10:8 17 because the great day of His wrath has come; and who is able to stand?

LESSON:

In Chapter 6, Christ starts opening the seals of the scroll. As he opens the seals, the first four beasts each tell John to “Come and See”:

We can find in the book of Zechariah the events taking place in Revelation: Zechariah Chapter 6 says: And I turned and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; and in the third chariot, white horses; and in the for the chariot grisled and bay horses. Then I answered and said with the angel that talked with me. What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me. These are the four spirits which of the heavens which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

So, we see that these horses represent spirits come to the earth to do the will of God. Don’t forget that in the seals are written instructions from God for Christ to inherit the Kingdom prepared for him from the foundation of the world. The instructions in these seals come from God. Since that shameful day in the Garden, God’s wrath has been building. Not because he does not love us, but because he does love us. God wants us to have the best in life as any father would want for his child. The best in life is to follow God’s footsteps in the carpet. Let God teach us right from wrong. He planted a Garden and had a plan for how we should live. We were never supposed to know evil.

The earth that God prepared for us became contaminated when Satan and his fallen angels started cohabitating with women as His Word tells us in Genesis Chapter 6 and the book of Jude. God did not cause all of the evil, Satan did. There was no evil until Satan. Satan was never born. God created Satan, and made every jewel his covering. His power came from God.

God gives all of us free will to do whatever we want. He will not force us to love him. A love that is forced is not true love. Satan chose not to love God. When Satan begat Cain, he knew what he was doing. That’s why God cursed him and separated Cain, Satan’s son from Abel, Adam’s son. Because Satan was never born, when he revolted against God, he was sentenced to death. He is the only one that is guaranteed to receive absolute death. And as with the fig tree and fig pollination, the only way for Satan to continue was to interfere with God’s plan in the Garden. Eve and Adam never had a chance to partake of the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was Satan himself. Satan was not a snake; it was one of the degrading names that God had given Satan after Satan tried to set himself up as God. Revelations Chapter 12 says that he is the snake, the serpent, and the devil. God calls him the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, because Satan knows what it is to be good, but he chooses to do evil. He was the anointed Cherub that God created and loved. Yes, God loved Satan once, He still does.

In Job, God speaks of the days when there was no evil and all the sons of God sang together. God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The parable of the fig tree is that the first fruit comes before the leaves, and a fig tree with leaves must have young fruit already, or it will be barren for the season. What happened in the Garden of Eden was that Satan wholly seduced Eve, and Adam followed Eve and participated also!

God was so angry that Satan had done this, that he told Eve that he would multiply her sorrow and her conception. God said in the manuscripts: “I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception; you shall bare sons in sorrow.”

Conception took place in the garden that day! God said in the manuscripts to Satan: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, between her seed and your seed.” God is talking about children here. The seed of man is children! Eve committed fornication with Satan.

he original manuscripts said that Eve would have “sons”. Cain and Abel were fraternal twins, because God separated them. God took back what had happened when Satan seduced Eve. God put the children in separate bags of waters, one bag of water contained offspring of Satan, and the other bag contained child of Eve’s after Adam knew her.

The original manuscripts said in Genesis Chapter 4: “And the man knew his wife Eve. And she conceived and bore Cain, and said, I have gotten a man of God. And she continued to bear his brother Abel. And Abel became a shepherd of flocks.” Also, when it was time to give an offering to God, it came at the same time for both. Satan was Cain’s father, and Adam was Abel’s because Satan took (or knew) Eve before Adam. If conception had not taken place, there would have been no need for God to multiply Eve’s conception.

Jesus was so angry with the fig tree when he went seeking fruit, because he was there in the garden and was a witness to what had happened. When he went seeking fruit, he saw leaves and expected there to be fruit on the tree, and as in the garden, the fruit had been taken once again, which is why he cursed the fig tree. Jesus is the true vine, the Branch, and the Tree of Life. Any branch in him that does not bear fruit will be hewn down.

Let me make this perfectly clear from the start: When Satan transformed himself into a talking serpent; he was able to wholly seduce Eve into eating. Not knowing they were committing fornication with Satan, she gave some to Adam and he participated also. Before this they were innocent. They learned only after it was over what had happened and they tried to cover their nakedness. Before the fornication with Satan, they were innocent children of God.

God is a SPIRIT. Adam and Eve were created in the image of GOD. Their eyes were closed to the world. When Eve and Adam committed fornication with Satan, their eyes became closed to God, and opened to the world. That’s what Satan was talking about when he said “Your eyes will be opened”. But that’s not what happened. Adam and Eve became spiritually blind because they forsook the way of The Tree of Life.

How is this possible? Jesus is the Son of God. Mary’s conception was through the Holy Spirit, not Joseph.

(Matt 1:20) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

(Luke) 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

Eve’s conception that day in the Garden was through Satan, and God also allowed Eve to conceive through Adam, and God separated the two children. Had Eve and Adam partaken of the Tree of Life, their eyes would be closed to the world, and they never would have known that they were naked, thus, no sorrow, and no death.

Referenced Scripture:

MATT 13:38-39 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

MATT 23:33 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous, 30And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35That upon you may come all the righteous blood, shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36Verily I say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation.

JOHN 8:44-45 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. (Read all of John Chapter 8. The Jews already know this.)

I JOHN 3:11-12 11For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

I Cor 11:3,4 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy; I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The time for redemption has come. God planted a garden, and the loosening of the seals sets in motion God’s plan to redeem this earth and the heavens back to the way it was originally intended. God will have order in the world which He created. He did not make the world in vain. The loosening of the seals is the plan God has made to destroy anyone and anything that does not belong to him on earth and in Heaven. He is doing this so that He can finally dwell with all of his children. Remember, God has to get rid of all of the evil before He can come. We must always strive to know the seasons and times, or we will not be ready when Jesus comes.
